Documentary reconstruction of the family landscape.

The place in history

Zagora, one of Pelion’s largest historic villages, grew through cultivation, textile work, education, shipping, and trade. Its orchards descend toward Chorefto, the maritime outlet used by Zagorian ships.

The village’s historic school and library preserve the learned culture of eastern Pelion, while Chorefto records the commercial relationship between mountain households and the Aegean.
