- 2.Name the record type sought: notarial deed, municipal register, school roll, or dowry contract.
- 3.Ask whether a search fee or a scanned-copy fee applies, and whether a reading-room appointment is required.

- 1.Address the Secretariat (Γραμματεία) and state that you seek a parish marriage entry.
- 2.Give both spouses' names in Greek, the parish (Ι. Ν. Αγίου Κωνσταντίνου, Βόλος), and the approximate year.
- 3.Ask whether the parish holds the register itself or whether it has been deposited with the Historical Archive of the Metropolis.

- 1.Request a copy of a ληξιαρχική πράξη by naming the person, the act type, and the year.
- 2.Older Pelion entries may sit with the pre-1997 community register; ask the office to trace the predecessor community.
- 3.Descendants must usually prove kinship; send identification and a short statement of relationship.
